Version 4.5 was released in September 2015 and added support for seamless fulfillment of ebooks across devices.
Version 4.0 was released in September 2014 and added support for EPUB3. Version 3.0 was released in January 2014 and introduced more secure digital rights management and improved vertical text support.

Having issues downloading ebooks to ADE from library. It cannot be that hard to include a double page view. Adobe Digital Editions ( ADE) is an e-book reader from Adobe Systems that supports various formats such as PDF, XHMTL and EPUB. Digital editions is an embarrasment as a piece of software, painful to use and makes me think the rest of Adobe's software is just as lacking in features.
